πππ has opened a new design application center near Turin (Italy). Together with EPC, Finepower supports projects in the growing market for motor drive applications with πππ technology. The EPC specialist team will provide you with advice and assistance in your design activities. πππ Technology is suitable for motorapplications from 400 W up to several 10 kW. Turin is strategically located and has a long tradition in electric and motor drive development. Finepower and EPC make full use of new πππ building blocks for more efficient, smaller and more cost-effective systems. Our common goal is to significantly increase the efficiency of the motor in order to achieve higher power density. This is not achievable with traditional MOSFET-based designs. Turin is also home to the Innovation Center for Power Electronics, a facility of the Politecnico di Torino – one of the most important technical universities in Europe.
The new facility will be led by Marco Palma, πππ Director of engine-systems and -applications. Novel πππ motor solutions with higher power density are already reducing unnecessary energy waste today. We would be happy to advise you individually and show you new ways.
