The world elite of sailors met over Whitsun five days in Langenargen at Lake Constance for the 22nd Match Race Germany. Ten teams from eight nations fought for points for the Match Race Super League.
Match Race means: All teams sail with completely identical yachts for the victory. Always two yachts start against each other, the winner goes one round further. Tactics and above all teamwork are the deciding factors in the Match Race.
In the end, the Kiwis, who participated for the first time, won this year and thus prevented the hat-trick of the Swiss after victories in 2017 and 2018.
Finepower as a development and distribution company in electronics, in which teamwork is also the basis for its success, supported the organisation of this international sports event as a sponsor and also took part in the “2nd New Mobility Convention”.
